Some instructions for using this filter
Place the large opening of this filter on the hose connection of the CPAP device and place the CPAP hose around the small opening of the filter. After this, the device is ready for use again. This filter should only be used as a supplement and not as a replacement for the standard coarse dust filter of the device. If the filter starts to look brown, it is time to replace it. Typically this takes anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks depending on the environment. If a heated hose is used, this filter only fits on the mask side of the hose. This filter qualifies as a "hygiene product" which cannot be returned once it has already been received.
