With this practical CPAP hose cleaning brush from Pürdoux, cleaning your CPAP hose now becomes even faster and easier. During sleep therapy, moisture accumulates in the CPAP hose, this is due to the difference in temperature between the hose and the environment in the bedroom. We recommend cleaning the hose thoroughly after every night to avoid such moisture accumulation. If the hose is not cleaned properly, this moisture in the hose becomes a breeding ground for bacteria and germs. Thanks to the soft bristles of the brush, the hose is cleaned quickly, easily and effectively.
Some directions for using this brush
Start by cleaning the CPAP hose in soapy water with lukewarm water and a little mild soap, preferably Pürdoux CPAP soap. Then carefully insert the brush into the hose, making sure that the hose remains as straight as possible. By moving the cleaning brush back and forth through the hose with short strokes, it gets the quickest and best clean. Do this up to about half the length of the hose and then repeat from the other side of the hose. Then rinse the hose thoroughly with cold water and hang the hose somewhere to dry. When the hose is dry again, it is ready for the next use. Please note, do not use this brush to clean a heated CPAP hose.
