Unlike a traditional humidifier, which requires distilled water, the waterless HumidX Plus humidifier for the ResMed AirMini uses a small capsule no larger than a coin that is simply placed into the tube of the AirMini. The HumidX Plus uses refined technology that removes condensation from the exhaled air and then adds the correct amount of moisture back to the therapy air. The app also provides a sleep score every night, which makes it easy to determine how effective the therapy was. This score is determined on the basis of the number of hours that sleep therapy has been followed, the number of apneas and hypoapneas per hour and the number of mask leaks that have occurred. Can only be used in combination with ResMed and BMC masks
The ResMed AirMini Auto CPAP can only be used in combination with a small selection of ResMed and BMC masks. For example, one of the following masks can be used: The ResMed AirFit P10 Mask Pack or BMC P2H Nasal Pillow Mask for intranasal use, the ResMed AirFit N30 Mask Pack, ResMed AirFit / AirTouch N20 Nasal Mask (extra Mask Pack for AirMini separately to order) or BMC N5AH Nasal Mask if a nasal mask is used or the ResMed AirFit F30 Full Face Mask or ResMed AirFit / AirTouch F20 Full Face Mask (extra Mask Pack for AirMini can be ordered separately) as full face mask options. If a ResMed mask is chosen, the adapter kit that can be ordered separately must be taken into account in all cases (in the case of P10 and N30 the mask is included) in order to be able to use the mask in combination with the AirMini.
Some instructions for using this CPAP device
