Enjoy efficient waterless humidification on the go
Thanks to its innovative design, the ResMed AirMini Auto CPAP travel device offers the option to use waterless humidification. This makes having to carry large and heavy bottles of distilled water to the holiday destination a thing of the past! Simply insert a HumidX Plus tablet into the connecting hose between the CPAP mask and the AirMini hose and the technology will do the rest. Moisture and heat are collected from the exhaled air via Heat Moisture Exchange (HME) technology. The dry air then flows from the device through the capsule, humidifying it. The HumidX Plus capsules are suitable for any environment, including dry and/or high altitude areas. This even makes it possible to use the AirMini with a HumidX Plus on the plane!
Replacing the HumidX Plus condenser humidifier
Each individual HumidX Plus condenser humidifier lasts up to 30 nights before needing to be replaced. The capsule is replaced quickly and easily as follows:
- Unscrew the CPAP mask connection hose from the AirMini CPAP hose
- Place the HumidX Plus tablet with the gray side down in the AirMini hose
- Reattach the connecting hose to the AirMini CPAP hose by twisting the ends together
Some directions for using these capsules
Because a condenser humidifier is in contact with the nose and/or mouth during use (via the mask), it qualifies as a "hygiene product" that cannot be returned once it has already been received. HumidX Plus waterless humidification capsules are only suitable for use with the ResMed AirMini Auto CPAP and not with the BMC M1 Mini Auto CPAP or other travel devices.
