Unlike most CPAP masks, which usually come standard with a silicone mask cushion, the AirTouch N20 nasal mask from ResMed is equipped with a cushion made of memory foam. This is a solution for users with sensitive skin who are more likely to suffer from skin irritations caused by silicone. In addition, the memory foam cushion ensures that the mask better follows the facial contours and is softer and lighter than silicone. This ensures optimal wearing comfort and helps prevent both mask leaks and painful red stripes on the face!
More pleasant frame and unobstructed view for extra comfort
Due to the practical design of the AirTouch N20 Nasal Mask, no forehead support is required to keep the mask properly in place, leaving the field of vision completely unobstructed. Ideal for users who wear glasses and/or like to watch TV from bed, read a book or use a smartphone! In addition, the seamless lining of the mask frame provides a more pleasant feeling on the skin. Using the magnetic clips, putting on and taking off this nasal mask is very easy. This mask uses the same frame as the ResMed AirFit N20 mask, so it can be used with both a silicone AirFit N20 cushion and a memory foam AirTouch N20 cushion.
More freedom of movement thanks to the connecting hose with quick coupling
The ResMed AirTouch N20 mask is equipped with a flexible connection hose that sits between the mask and the regular CPAP hose. This provides more freedom of movement and prevents the hose from pulling on the mask throughout the night for an undisturbed night's sleep. In addition, the connecting hose is also equipped with an elbow-shaped quick coupling with which the mask can be detached and reconnected to the hose in an instant. This is extra handy for visiting the toilet in the dark!
Can be used with AirMini together with AirMini Mask Pack
Planning to travel soon with a ResMed AirMini and looking for a matching nose mask? The AirTouch N20 Nasal Mask is one of the few masks that can also be used in combination with the ResMed AirMini Auto CPAP travel device. An AirMini N20 Mask Pack is required for this. This kit includes a connecting hose between the mask and the AirMini, an AirMini CPAP hose and 2 (1x HumidX and 1x HumidX Plus) waterless humidifiers. Some directions for using this mask
Because a CPAP mask comes into contact with the nose and/or mouth during use, it qualifies as a "hygiene product" that cannot be returned once it has already been received. The manufacturer recommends that you remove the memory foam mask cushion at least every other day with a CPAP mask cloth. Because of the memory foam, the cushion should not be immersed in water to be replaced monthly. There are magnets in the headband and frame. Never allow them to come within 5 cm of medical implants (such as a pacemaker). Consult the instructions for use.
